Vermillion Quill Pen is handcrafted petite teardrop fountain pen combines the natural richness of padauk wood with custom ergonomic turning and polished chrome detailing, creating a distinctive writing instrument designed for both comfort and character. Turned from padauk wood, the pen displays a rich auburn-red colour with fine dark grain lines running naturally along the length of the barrel. The warm timber tones give the pen a distinctive organic appearance while highlighting the individual character of the wood.  The wooden surface is finished to a smooth semi-gloss sheen, enhancing the natural depth and grain of the padauk while maintaining the warmth and tactile character of the timber. Polished chrome accents contrast beautifully with the rich red wood. Details include a threaded front section, double centre band rings, a stylised pocket clip and a polished finial, creating a clean and refined metallic finish. The main barrel features a pronounced teardrop silhouette, beginning with a slimmer section near the metallic grip before gradually widening into a rounded central belly. This custom-turned contour is designed to fill the hand naturally and provide a comfortable writing position. The wider body profile helps distribute the pen comfortably across the hand, reducing pressure during extended writing while maintaining control through the narrower front section. The cap incorporates an internal thread mechanism, allowing it to screw securely onto the front grip when closed.
